My partner wants to play Minecraft with me, but it feels like a waste of playing time to me. I have such a backlog on PS4 but haven't played a console game in weeks now. I'm addicted it hasn't been completely smooth sailing but this is close to being a perfect game for me.
Oh they're working on it? How encouraging! I hope you really enjoy the first two hours of the game in the mean time. So, seriously, when and how can i save the game? at this point i've sunk like 3 and a half hours into this thing and haven't been able to save! i love everything about what i've played, but i'm about to give up unless i know the next time i play i'll be able to save my damn game. so, this is the beginning of the 'Mechs turn, right? press escape. so i get my first contracted mission, go down to the planet. hovering over it for a second, i see "you can only save at beginning of 'Mechs turn or when no Event is happening". now i'm flying around in a space ship! press escape. My most recent run i had more time- beat the tutorial mission, beat the second mission. i quit, come back to the game later, and there is apparently no auto-save, so that was a bust. press escape, the "save" button is greyed out. ran out of time, had to quit playing, couldn't save my game. My first run, i completed the tutorial mission and got to the second mission.

i can't seem to figure out how to save my game. I've just started playing this game via gamepass. I'm having a surrious problem here and i feel very stupid that i can't figure it out, i'm coming to y'all for help.
